Joe Gooch

Joe Gooch ( May 3, 1977 in Highbury, North London ) is the guitarist and lead singer for the blues-rock group Ten Years After.

Biography

Gooch grew up in a very musical environment, and quickly found their way to the jazz and the blues. With the founding in 1967, the legendary Woodstock Festival Band Ten Years After he joined in 2003 at age 26 at the legacy of ex- frontman Alvin Lee. At this time he played in the band Siro.

Originally Joe Gooch received a classical guitar training, but was early to the music of Jimi Hendrix and Frank Zappa. He has since released three albums with Ten Years After. In 2010 he started with his band mates from Ten Years After, Leo Lyons Hundred Seventy Split the project that produced a studio album, but from 2011 also completed live performances and a 2012 DVD titled Live from the Rockhal (Luxembourg) has published.
