Joe Madureira

Joe Madureira ( born December 3, 1974 in Philadelphia; mædərærə, nicknamed Joe Mad ) is an American comic book artist. Madureira is known primarily for his work on the X - Men series for Marvel Comics, and the comic book Battle Chasers.

Biography

Joe Madureira was stopped in 1991 by Marvel as an intern. The first release of the then 16 -year-old student of the High School of Art and Design in New York was an eight-page story about the comic book hero Northstar in the ongoing Marvel Comics Presents anthology. In the coming years, Joe Madureira working on other projects for Marvel. Particularly well known are his contributions to the wide range of X - Men universe. In 1994 he was finally main signatories of the series Uncanny X -Men, and developed, among other things, the new uniforms of the protagonists of the "Age of Apocalypse" story arc, as well as by the style of Japanese manga -influenced uniforms within the regular series. Battle Chasers was first published by Wildstorm Comics, before the publisher was sold to DC Comics. Nine parts of the series appeared in sequence, the publication distances were getting bigger. At the end of the ninth part of the series was canceled because the tenth episode would have meant the beginning of a new story arc, he no longer would be able to continue.

Joe Madureira then moved into the computer games industry and was hired as a designer for a game called Dragon child with Tri - Lunar Studios. When they were declared bankrupt, he moved to Realm Interactive, which at that time Trade Wars: Dark Millennium produced. Realm Interactive was acquired by NCsoft, where Madureira the game under the name Exarch further led until it finally appeared under the name Dungeon Runners. After leaving NCsoft, Madureira founded the company with former Vigil Games NCsoft colleagues. Vigil was acquired in March 2006 by THQ; as the first title in 2010 Darksiders published.
