Joel Eriksson

Joel Eriksson ( born September 16, 1984 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish speed skater.

His debut in the World Cup he played in November of the season 2006/ 07 in Berlin. When running team - season finale at Erfurt he won with Johan Röjler and Daniel Friberg silver. In the overall World Cup they gained so rank 5 for Sweden.

In the 2007 /08 season Eriksson promotion to the A group over 5000/10000 meters. With space 18 over 5000 meters he ran in Calgary his so far best result. However, he could not hold in the A group and has been running in the top 10 in the B group on the sprint and long distance.

In single- Distance World Championships in Canada Richmond Eriksson was able to bring the first medal for Sweden in the team race. With an outstanding team performance, the trio Eriksson, and Friberg Röjler won silver behind the Dutch.
