Johan Bara

John Barra (* 1581 in Middelburg, † 1634 in London), also known as Johann Bara or in the English room as John Bara known, was a Dutch painter, glass painter and engraver. Barra worked beginning in Holland and went to London, where he died in 1634 later. He called himself sometimes, sculptor et Vitrearum Imaginum pictor. His creation time is 1598-1632. During that time John Barra published numerous engravings that resemble the works of Egidius Sadeler, but do not copy.
