Johan Kristoffersson

Johan Kristoffersson ( born December 6, 1988 in Arvika ) is a Swedish racing driver. He won the 2012 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship (STCC ), the Scandinavian Porsche Carrera Cup and the Superstars Series. He is the son of racing driver Tommy Kristoffersson, who was in the late 1980s and early 1990s as an Audi quattro and Audi Coupe S2 driver in the European Rallycross successfully, before joining the STCC.

Career

Kristoffersson began his motorsport career in 2008 in touring car racing in the JTCC Sweden. For the team his father, Kristoffersson Motorsport, starting, he won two races and finished fourth in the drivers' standings. In 2009, he joined the Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC ), where he also took for Kristoffersson Motorsport. In an Audi A4 Kristoffersson had no points in the championship. Five tenth places were his best results. In the standard internal Semcon Cup, in which only the privateers were authorized evaluation, he finished second. 2010 was Kristoffersson first without cockpit. For the last three events he competed for the team Biogas.se in a VW Scirocco in the Swedish Touring Car Championship. With a tenth place as best result he was 15th in the driver standings.

2011 Kristoffersson went in Scandinavian Porsche Carrera Cup at the start. With 8 of 15 victories, he won the most races. However, he was defeated in the championship Robin Rudholm and was with 402 to 420 points in second place. In addition Kristoffersson took part in a race of the German Porsche Carrera Cup and the Porsche Carrera World Cup. The inserts in the Porsche one-make cups graduated Kristoffersson for Kristoffersson Motorsport. In addition Kristoffersson rose during the season in the newly founded Scandinavian Touring Car Championship (STCC ). He again drove a VW Scirocco by Biogas.se. Kristoffersson scored two third places for best results and was tenth in the championship. He also appeared to be a race of the VLN Endurance Championship Nürburgring.

2012 Kristoffersson occurred in parallel in three racing series. In the STCC he piloted throughout a VW Scirocco Team biogas. At the season opener at Mantorp Park, he won both races. It was followed by another victory in Mantorp Park and two wins at the season finale in Stockholm. Overall, he finished eleven of sixteen races on the podium. With 264 to 258 points he won against Rickard Rydell and became champion. Moreover, won for starting Kristoffersson Motorsport Kristoffersson the Scandinavian Porsche Carrera Cup. He decided there eight out of ten races for themselves. In addition Kristoffersson was an Audi factory driver in the Superstars Series, an Italian Touring Car Championship. He drove a set of Kristoffersson Motorsport Audi RS5. He won both races at Imola and Vallelunga. Kristoffersson sat down with 185 to 181 points Vitantonio Liuzzi to and decided by the international rating that included all races, for themselves. In addition, he has also won the Italian championship, to the numbered only the Italian race. Early 2012 also completed Kristoffersson DTM tests for Audi.
