Johan Ludvig Holstein-Ledreborg

Johan Ludvig von Holstein, in 1750, Count of Holstein- Ledreborg ( born September 7, 1694 Lübz; † January 29, 1763 ) was Chancellor of Denmark.

He came from the Möllen Hagen line of Mecklenburg noble family of Holstein and was the son of Danish receding Johan Georg von Holstein ( born February 16, 1662 † December 26, 1730 ) and his first wife Ida von Bülow ( 1677-1727 ). Another concern was the formation of Ludvig - he devoted himself for many years as " university patron " of the University of Copenhagen and had a significant influence on the founding of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences.
