Johan Molin

Johan Molin ( born October 25 1976 in Nacka ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who is since 2010 in the BAJEN hockey fans in Division 3 under contract.

Career

Johan Molin began his career as a hockey player with Hammarby IF, for the first team, he was active in the then still second-class Division 1 1993-1997. Then the attacker played three years for the VIK Västerås HK in the Elitserien, before he spent the 2000/01 season in the league rivals Brynäs IF. For the season 2001 /02 he went abroad for the first time, where he received a contract with the Ayr Scottish Eagles of the British Ice Hockey Superleague. For this, he scored five goals in 15 games and was further seven assists.

The 2002/03 season Molin graduated at HC Innsbruck in the Austrian Hockey League. There he could fully convince and was with his personal best of 35 goals top scorer in the league. Then, the DEG Metro Stars were from the German Ice Hockey League aware of him there, however, he could not prevail with eleven points in 52 games, so his contract was not renewed, and he returned to Sweden. For his former club Hammarby IF he ran on in the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan.

For the 2005/06 season Molin has been committed by the SHC Fassa in the Italian Serie A1, before he spent four years in the Elite Ice Hockey League - was under contract - a first season for Manchester Phoenix and then three seasons for Nottingham Panthers. During his time in Manchester, he was elected to the Second All-Star team in the league in 2007. With Nottingham he was in 2008 Challenge Cup Champions before he was elected in the 2008 /09 season team internally both by his fellow players, as well as the fans of his team's player of the year Nottingham. The season 2009/10 ended the Swede at Sparta Sarpsborg in Norway's GET - ligaen, for which he scored two goals and three assists in 16 games. He then joined the Swedish Amateur Hockey Club BAJEN fans from the fünftklassigen Division 3 at.

Internationally

For Sweden Molin took part in the World Youth Championship 1996, where he took second place with his team.
