Johan Rasmussen

Ivar Johan Rasmussen ( born July 18, 1970 in Borås ) is a former Swedish ski jumper.

Rasmussen announced on 7 March 1990 in his hometown of Örnsköldsvik his debut in the World Cup Ski Jumping. In jumping on the normal hill he reached the 71st place. A year later he started at the Nordic World Ski Championships 1991 in Val di Fiemme. From the large hill he jumped here on the 61st place. From the 1991/92 season Rasmussen launched in parallel in the World Cup and the Continental Cup. In the World Cup he was point - and unsuccessful in the first two seasons. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1993 in Falun, he jumped on the normal hill on the 31st and on the large hill on the 34th place. On December 14, 1993, he succeeded with a 12th place in Predazzo first time the profit of World Cup points. He also reached that place the highest individual finish of his career in the World Cup. At the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer Rasmussen jumped on the large hill on the 41st. In the team competition, he reached the 10th place together with Mikael Martinsson, Staffan Tällberg and Fredrik Johansson. In the following years he remained in the World Cup as well as in the Nordic and the Ski Flying World Championships unsuccessful and ended in 1996 then his active ski jumping career.
