Johann Ludwig Bach

Johann Ludwig Bach (born 4 Februarjul / February 14 1677greg in Thal near Eisenach. . Buried May 1, 1731 in Meiningen ), called the " Meininger Bach", was a German composer of the Bach family.

His father was the organist and cantor Jacob Bach ( 1655-1718 ). Johann Ludwig had two sons, Anton and Samuel Gottlieb Friedrich, who worked as an organist and pastel painter in Meiningen. Life

Of the currently known 22 Church Cantatas Johann Ludwig Bach Johann Sebastian Bach has 18 listed from February to September in Leipzig in 1726. They belong to the older type without cantata madrigalische seal. The texts are based on the scheme
