Johann Michael Bach III

Johann Michael Bach ( born November 9, 1745 in Struth Schmalkalden, † June 13, 1820 in Elberfeld ) was a German composer of the Bach family. His kinship to Wechmarer line, which comes from Johann Sebastian Bach, is not fully understood.

He left early to travel to Holland and England, worked as a cantor in Tann, studied at Göttingen and Leipzig, settled in Güstrow as a lawyer down, returned to Tann and spent his old age after a trip to Switzerland in Elberfeld, a district of present-day Wuppertal.
