Johann Michael Feuchtmayer the Elder

Johann Michael Feuchtmayer ( the Elder) ( born April 17, 1666 Wessobrunn ( date of baptism ); † October 15, 1713 in Konstanz ) was a German painter and engraver of the family Feuchtmayer, which is attributed to the Wessobrunner school. He was a brother of Franz Joseph Feuchtmayer (1660-1718) and Michael Feuchtmayer (* 1667).

The works J. M. Feuchtmayer Elder part of the high altar painting of the Holy iddah in the Catholic parish church of St. Ida in Building ( Switzerland ), 1706. Together with his brother Franz Joseph he created sculptures for the choir of the monastery of Einsiedeln in Switzerland.
