Johann Peter Kirsch

Johann Peter Kirsch ( born November 3, 1861 in Dippach / Luxembourg, † February 4, 1941 in Rome ) was a church historian and Christian archaeologist.

Cherry was from 1888 to 1890 Director of the Historical Institute of the Gorres Society in Rome. From 1890 to 1932 he was professor of patristics and Christian Archaeology at the University of Fribourg ( Switzerland ), from 1925, he was head of the Pontifical Istituto di Archeological Cristiana.
