Johann Samuel Beyer

Johann Samuel Beyer (* 1669 in Gotha, † May 9, 1744 in Karlsbad ) was a German cantor and composer in Weissenfels and Freiberg.

Beyer also worked as a so-called writer on music.

As choirmaster of Freiberg Cathedral, he checked the local small organ, which was built in the years 1718-1719 by Gottfried Silbermann of Freiberg's Hospital Church ( St. John's Church ).
