Johannes Hüppi
John Hüppi (* 1965 in Baden -Baden ) is a Swiss- German artist and painter.
Life
John Hüppi is the son of Alfonso Hüppi and Brigitta Hüppi -Weber and the brother of Thaddeus Hüppi. From 1984 to 1990 Hüppi studied at the Art Academy Dusseldorf with Fritz Schwegler and Dieter Krieg. From 1997 to 2000 he had a studio in New York City and in the years 2000/2001 in Miami, Florida, in 2002 in Italy, from 2004 to 2011 in Basel, in 2012 in Spain and Korea. Since 2012 he lives and works in Baden -Baden.
From 2004 to 2007 Johannes Hüppi was a professor of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Braunschweig, 2006, he was a professor at the Universidad de las Américas ( UDLA ) in Puebla, Mexico.
