John Abell

John Abell (* 1652 in Aberdeen, † after 1724 in Cambridge ) was a Scottish singer, lutenist and composer of the Baroque.

Life

John Abell received his training as a chorister in the Chapel Royal. As a Catholic and followers of the Pope, he had to leave during the Revolution of 1688, England.
