John Adolf, Duke of Holstein-Gottorp

Johann Adolf ( born February 27, 1575 Gottorp Castle, † March 31, 1616 in Schleswig ) was the first Protestant Prince-Bishop of Lübeck ( 1586-1607 ) and Bishop of Bremen and Hamburg ( 1585-1596 ) and Duke of Schleswig -Holstein - Gottorp ( 1590-1616 ).

Life
