John Brennan (athlete)

John Brennan ( John Joseph Brennan, born July 17, 1879 in Ireland, † February 21, 1964 in West Allis ) was an American long and triple jumper.

At the Olympic Games in London in 1908, he was with his personal best of 6.86 m fifth in the long jump. In the triple jump, he was eighth with 13.59 m. His best performance in this discipline he had set up with 13.84 m at the U.S. Olympic qualifying on May 29, 1908 in Chicago.

John Brennan started for Marquette University.
