John Brown (Maryland)

John Brown ( † December 13, 1815 in Centreville, Maryland ) was an American politician. In the years 1809 and 1810, he represented the state of Maryland in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

About childhood and education of John Brown, nothing is handed down, just as little about his career development beyond politics. He joined, founded by Thomas Jefferson Democratic-Republican Party, which has been in the congressional elections of 1808 as their candidate for the seventh electoral district of Maryland in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Edward Lloyd on March 4, 1809. He was reelected in 1810, but resigned before the start of the new term of his mandate back to take an administrative center at the District Court in Queen Anne's County. He continued in this position until his death on December 13, 1815 in Centreville.
