John Burnet (classicist)

John Burnet (* December 9, 1863, † May 26, 1928 ) was a Scottish classical scholar. He taught 1892-1926 Professor of Gräzistik at the University of St Andrews. Significant are still his philological work and his editions of the Greek philosopher Plato.
