John Caradja

Prince Ioannis Georgios Karatzas (Greek Ἰωάννης Γεώργιος Καρατζάς; Romanian: Ioan Gheorghe Caragea; French: Jean Georges Caradja; * 1754, † 1844) was in the period 1812-1818 ruler of Wallachia. The prince was descended from the noble family phanariotischen Caradja. Ioannis Georges Caradja went to his deposition in 1818 with his nephew Prince Alexandros Mavrokordatos into exile in Italy.
