John Carroll (actor)
John Carroll ( born July 17, 1906 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, † April 24, 1979 in Hollywood, California, actually Julian LaFaye ) was an American actor and singer.
Life and career
Carroll left the age of twelve his parents' house and stayed then with various casual jobs to support. Later he went to Europe to study singing. Back in the U.S., he worked as a stuntman and extra. For the first time in 1929 he was seen in Marianne on the canvas, where he played a soldier.
