John Doyle (politician)

Robert John Doyle ( born March 31, 1942 in Covington, Virginia ) is an American politician of the Democratic Party.

Life

Doyle studied political science and history at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown (West Virginia), where he graduated in 1966. From 1982 to 1984, and from 1992 to 2012 he was a member of the House of Representatives from West Virginia. Doyle stood up in Parliament of West Virginia among others, the introduction of a civil partnership institute for same-sex couples ( "civil union" ). Doyle lives in Shepherdstown.
