John E. Woods

John Edwin Woods is an American translator from German.

His translations include especially the works of Arno Schmidt, but also by Thomas Mann, Libuse Monikova, Christoph Ransmayr and Ingo Schulze.

He worked a long time in California and currently lives (2009) in Berlin.
