John Gaeta

John Gaeta (c. 1965) was visual effects supervisor on the Matrix trilogy. Because of the pioneering quality of the effects in all three Matrix films, he is known as " VFX guru " and in 2000 won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects in a matrix. In 2006 he made his debut as a director in the horror film Trapped Ashes, along with other directors: Joe Dante, Ken Russell, Sean Cunningham and Monte Hellman. In 2008, he reunited with the Wachowski siblings, he was the Supervisior for the effects of the anime film adaptation of Speed ​​Racer.
