John Gilbert (film editor)

John Gilbert (born 20 century) is a New Zealand film editor, film producer and screenwriter.

Life

John Gilbert began his career in the film business as an editor in the late 1980s. His career highlight he experienced with the literary adaptation Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the year 2001, for which he was nominated for an Oscar in 2002 and 2001 won a Satellite Award.

As a screenwriter, he was involved in two 2006 episodes of the television series The Lost Children. From 1999 to 2006 he also worked as a producer in particular of short films.
