John Gregson, Baron Gregson

John Gregson, Baron Gregson (* January 29, 1924, † 12 August 2009) was a British Labour Party politician.

Life and career

Gregson was appointed on 11 July 1975 for Life peer as Baron Gregson, of Stockport in the County of Greater Manchester. Between 1977 and 2003 he participated several times in debates in the House of Lords.

Since 1996, Gregson served as treasurer of the Built Environment Group. He was also honorary president for life of the Labour Finance and Industry Group.

He died on 12 August 2009 at the age of 85 years.
