John Hannah (actor)

John David Hannah ( born April 23, 1962 in East Kilbride, Scotland ) is a British actor.

Life

Hannah attended Claremont High School in East Kilbride, then he worked for four years as an electrician. Later he studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. At the end of the 1980s, Hannah starred in several television movies, in the comedy Four Weddings and a Funeral (1993 ) he played the role of homosexual Matthew alongside Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell. For this role he was in 1995 for the British Academy Film Award ( BAFTA ) nomination. In the film drama She loves him - she does not love him (1998) he played the role of good-natured James Hammerton alongside Gwyneth Paltrow.
