John II, Bishop of Jerusalem

John II (* 356, † 10 January 417) was a Christian bishop of Jerusalem.

John was first a monk and was 387 successor of Bishop Cyril. He was known by Rufinus of Aquileia and Jerome and led to the latter dispute over the leadership of the Jerusalem church. John had 415 Hagia Sion build. He was up to his death, Bishop of Jerusalem.
