John II of Jerusalem

John I of Cyprus or John II of Jerusalem (c. 1256, † May 20, 1285 ) was the son of Hugh III, King of Cyprus and Isabella of Ibelin. . After his father's death he was crowned on May 11, 1284 Nicosia. His successor in the kingdom of Jerusalem were fought by Charles of Anjou, who had defied his father and the government.

John died the following May unmarried and childless. He was buried in the church of St. Demetrius in Nicosia. According to some sources, he was poisoned by his brothers, one of whom, Henry II, followed him in Cyprus and Jerusalem.
