John J. McIntyre (bishop)

John Joseph McIntyre ( born August 20, 1963 in Philadelphia ) is Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia.

Life

The archbishop of Philadelphia, Cardinal Anthony Joseph Bevilacqua, ordained him a priest on May 16, 1992.

Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 8 June 2010 as Titular Bishop of Bononia and Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia. The archbishop of Philadelphia, Cardinal Justin Francis Rigali, donated to it on 6 August of the same year along with Michael Joseph Fitzgerald episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were John Patrick Cardinal Foley, Cardinal Grand Master of the Equestrian Order of the Holy grave in Jerusalem, and Joseph Robert Cistone, Bishop of Saginaw.
