John Kotter

John P. Kotter (* 1947) is Professor of Leadership Management at Harvard Business School. He is particularly known for his work in the field of change management.

Kotter studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 1968, he made there a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and computer science. In 1970 he completed the Master of Science from MIT. In 1972 Postdoctoral Kotter.

He led, inter alia, the eight steps of the organizational change and shape the burning platform.
