John Kowalski

John Kowalski ( born December 22, 1951 in Miłków, Poland ) is a former Polish coach American football clubs, as well as former coach of the U.S. Futsal National Team and the U.S. national soccer team. He currently coaches the women's soccer team at the Robert Morris University as well as the U-15 girls team of the Stars United SC in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Career

Kowalski was coach of the U.S. Futsal National team with which he won in 1989 at the first Futsal World Championship in the Netherlands and a bronze medal at the second Futsal World Cup 1992 in Hong Kong, a silver medal. In 1991, he was for three games coach of the U.S. national soccer team with which he achieved a win, a draw and a defeat before he had to leave his office to Bora Milutinovic. Since the Futsal World Cup is a recognized by FIFA tournament in 1992 reached Silver Medal is the highest per -won medal in the U.S. men's soccer in a tournament organized by FIFA. From 1997 to 1998 he took over the post of coach at existing from 1996 to 2001 Major League Soccer club Tampa Bay Mutiny. More coach stations were the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and the Indoor Soccer Club Pittsburgh Spirit. Since 2003, he coached the women's soccer team at the Robert Morris University and is also coach of the U-15 girls team of the Stars United SC in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The team he accompanied now for several years and was with the girls already some successes, such as the semi-finals at the PA West State Cup 2008 celebrate.

Kowalski's Wife called Pat and he is the father of a daughter named Kaylene. Currently the family lives in Sewickley, Pennsylvania.
