John Mercer Langston House

The John Mercer Langston House is a historic house in Oberlin, Lorain County and is in the U.S. state of Ohio, in the United States. Built in 1855 the house is located on East College Street at number 207, and is now privately owned.

From 1856 to 1867 the shingle building was the residence of the black lawyer and politician John Mercer Langston, one of the best known and most influential civil rights activists of the 19th century.
