John Michael Miller

John Michael Miller CSB ( born July 9, 1946 in Ottawa, Canada) is a Roman Catholic Archbishop of Vancouver.

Life

John Michael Miller was born in the capital of the Canadian province of Ontario, Ottawa,. On September 12, 1966 John Michael Miller put his religious profession in the Congregation of St. Basil priest. He was for the Congregation on 29 June 1975 by Pope Paul VI. ordained a priest.

On 25 November 2003, Pope John Paul II appointed Titular Archbishop of Vertara and Secretary of the Congregation for Catholic Education. The solemn consecration gave him Cardinal Zenon Grocholewski on 12 January 2004. Pope Benedict XVI. he was appointed on 1 June 2007 for Koadjutorerzbischof of Vancouver. Since 2 January 2009, John Michael Miller, Archbishop of Vancouver.

He is Grand Prior of the Order of the province Vancouver Equestrian Order of the Holy grave in Jerusalem.
