John Pasche

John Pasche ( born April 24, 1945) is an artist and graphic designer who is known especially for the design of the logo " Tongue and Lip Design" for The Rolling Stones.

Career

John Pasche studied from 1963 to 1967 Graphic Design at Brighton College of Art, where he earned a BA in 1967 and until 1970 at the Royal College of Art, where he earned a master's degree.

Work

At the Royal College of Art John Pasche in 1969 created a movie poster for the film Judex and 1970, a perky for Roger Vadim's film Adam's rib.

Music Industry

Pasche designed the logo in 1971 " Tongue and Lip Design", which was originally mapped on the album Sticky Fingers. In August 2008, the design was chosen of all time in an online poll for best band logo. Pasche created some posters for many tours of the Rolling Stones, so for the European Tour in 1970 and 1973 and for the U.S. tour in 1972. He created a promotional sticker for Goats Head Soup, showing a pot of soup, in a goat's head is, and the cover art for the single She's So Cold.

For United Artists Records Pasche has created other works. Among both album and single covers, as well as concert posters such as " The Raven " (1979), " The Stranglers IV " (1979), " La Folie " (1981), were "Live (X Cert )" ( 1979), " Duchess " (1979) and " Peaches "(1979).
