John Robinson (drummer)

John " JR " Robinson ( born December 29, 1954 in Creston, Iowa) is one of the most recorded drummers in the music business.

John began with five years of piano lessons and only came three years later to the drums. His first band he had with 10 and soon decided that he wanted to become a professional drummer. He attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston and studied in 1978 by a random members of the band " Rufus and Chaka Khan ," who became soon engaged him as the new drummer. His talent spread quickly and already in the same year, Quincy Jones booked him for the sessions at the Michael Jackson album " Off the Wall "
