John Rogers Thomas

John Rogers Thomas ( born March 26, 1830 in Wales; † April 5, 1896 in New York City ) was an American composer and singer.

Life

Thomas came in 1846 to New York. There, he worked at The Seguin Troupe of bassist Edward Seguin and his wife Anne Childe Seguin, for which he wrote a successful operetta. He also composed many popular songs and sacred works, which are not obtained.
