John Salley

John Thomas Salley ( born May 16, 1964 in New York ) is a retired American professional basketball player and actor.

Playing career

He began his career John Salley at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he played for the "Yellow Jackets." With a total of 243 blocked litters he holds the record at Georgia Tech. After Salley was in the NBA Drafts selected in 1986 to eleventh position by the Detroit Pistons, he moved to the North American professional league. In the following 14 years Salley, among other things for the Detroit Pistons, Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers played. During this period he won the NBA championship four times, came to 748 missions and scored 5228 points. Salley is the first NBA player who won the championship with three different clubs.
