John Salmons

John Rashalld Salmons ( born December 12, 1979 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American professional basketball player. Since December 2013, he plays for the team the Toronto Raptors in the NBA.

High school and college career

With the team of Plymouth White Marsh High School Salmons won the 1997 Pennsylvania High School State Champion Chip. After his high school years he played at the University of Miami in Florida.

NBA career

Salmons was in the 2002 NBA Draft selected in 26th place by the San Antonio Spurs, which further were trading him immediately to the Philadelphia 76ers.

On 24 July 2006 he signed a multi-year contract with the Sacramento Kings. In the game against the Denver Nuggets he succeeded on 22 December 2006 with 21 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, the first triple -double of his NBA career.

February 18, 2009 Salmons joined together with Brad Miller in exchange for Drew Gooden, Andres Nocioni, Cedric Simmons and Michael Ruffin to the Chicago Bulls.

In the game against the Boston Celtics succeeded him on 17 March 2009 with 38 points, scored his previous Career.

On 18 February 2010 he was traded for Joe Alexander and Hakim Warrick to the Milwaukee Bucks.

June 2011 he was transferred back to the Sacramento Kings. For the Kings Salmons ran until December 2013. On December 10, 2013, he was traded by the Kings to the Toronto Raptors. In return, joined, among others, Rudy Gay to California.
