John Scott (composer)
John Scott ( born 1 November 1930 in Bristol ) is a British film composer.
Life
Scott Following his training as a band musician and arranger. He was involved, among others, the recordings of the Hollies, gained recognition as a flutist and possessed with Johnny Scott Quintet its own jazz combo. For the film, he came across as a musician for John Barry's early film compositions.
In 1965 he started his own business as a composer and as a musical director. He intoned a variety of entertainment films and television productions and has composed the music for many commercials. With JOS owned their own record label, he recorded several records with famous singers such as Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey.
