John Stuart Hindmarsh

John Stuart Hindmarsh ( born November 25, 1907September 6, 1938 ) was an English racing driver and aviator.

Johnny Hindmarsh received, after visiting the elementary schools, military training in the United Kingdom. He was a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and then served from 1928 as an officer in the Royal Tank Regiment. In 1930, he trained as a pilot in the Royal Air Force.

Hindmarsh was a keen amateur racing driver who spent many weekends off at the various racetracks. His biggest success in motorsport was the overall victory - his team partner was Luis Fontes - the 24- hour race at Le Mans 1935.

Johnny Hindmarsh accident in September 1938, almost 31 years old, during a test flight in a Hawker Hurricane on the Brooklands circuit deadly.
