John Sykes

John Sykes ( born July 29, 1959 in Reading, Berkshire, England ) is a British rock guitarist, best known as a member of the bands Tygers Of Pan Tang, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, and Blue Murder, and his solo work.

The best known and most successful album, on which Sykes is heard, probably 1987 / Whitesnake from 1987. Together with singer David Coverdale, he wrote all the songs ( including Still Of The Night, Is This Love? , And Children Of The Night ), except for the previously released Here I Go Again and Crying In The Rain.
