John Tracy Clinic

The John Tracy Clinic is one of the most famous hospitals in the world that is connected to the rehabilitation of hearing impaired and deaf children. It was founded in 1942. Since 1952, the clinic has its headquarters near the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

The John Tracy Clinic was founded, financed and managed by Louise Treadwell Tracy, the wife of the world-famous in his time American actor Spencer Tracy. She founded the clinic as a charitable institution ( non-profit ) to offer free education and support for the deaf and hearing impaired children and their parents highly.

The clinic was named in honor of Tracy's son, John, named, who was born with a high degree of hearing impairment.
