John Veldman

John Fitzgerald Veldman ( born February 24, 1968 in Paramaribo, Suriname) is a Dutch footballer of Surinamese origin.

He began his career in 1986 at PSV Eindhoven. In 1989 he moved for two seasons at Willem II Tilburg. For the 1991/92 season he moved to Sparta Rotterdam. In 1996 he moved for a season at Ajax Amsterdam. Later he went to Vitesse Arnhem. His career ended in 2001, after a one-year commitment at RBC Roosendaal. Veldman played 1996 times for the Dutch national team.
