John Welsh (footballer)
John Welsh went through from the age of 10 years, all the youth teams of the English record champions Liverpool FC. Among other things, he was captain of the reserve team. From the mid- season 2001/2002 Welsh trained regularly with the pros of the first team, where he made his competitive debut for the " Reds " on 4 December 2002 in a League Cup game against Ipswich Town. On 4 October 2003 the Match against Arsenal Welsh made his Premier League debut.
So that he could continue to evolve, Welsh was borrowed for the 2005/2006 season in the second division Hull City. There one was so impressed by his performance that they signed him permanently after the end of the season. On the climb in 2008, he was temporarily loaned to the unterklassige team of Chester City.
John Welsh has in eight games scored a goal for the England Under-21 national team in the years 2004 to 2007.
