John Whittingdale

John Lawrance Whittingdale OBE Flasby ( born October 16, 1959) is a British politician and the Conservative Party since 1992 Member of the British Parliament.

Whittingdale visited after Sandroyd School Winchester College and then studied at University College London. He became involved in politics at a young age first elected to the British Parliament in 1992. During the reign of Tony Blair, he was Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. Since 2005 - in that year he was elected to Parliament again in the constituency of Maldon and East Chelmsford - he is the chairman of this parliamentary committee and was involved in this function spearheaded the parliamentary investigation into the News International scandal.

John Wittingdale was married to the nurse Ancilla Murfitt, but is now divorced. First is the father of two children.
