Johnny Indrisano

Johnny Indrisano, actually Johnny Andrews Andressano ( born January 1, 1905 in Boston, USA, † July 9, 1968 in San Fernando Valley, California ) was an American actor, boxer, a stuntman and bodyguard.

Life

Johnny Indrisano came from poor conditions. In 1924, he began his career as an agent heavyweight boxer who lasted until 1934, at that time under his real name. Although he did not win any titles, he won the most fights and so suggested significant boxers like Lou Broulliard, Tommy Freeman, Joe Dundee, Nick Testo, Sig Kepper and Sammy Baker. 83 professional fights, he won 80 After his career as a boxer, he worked as a professional boxing referee from 1934 to 1949.

His first contact with the film he got as a stuntman in over 13 films as well as personal and official boxing trainer in Hollywood. He coached among others John Garfield, Spencer Tracy, Cary Grant, Mickey Rooney, Robert Ryan, Robert Taylor, Jimmy Durante, Fred MacMurray and Ricardo Montalban. Despite his marriage to Mary Gilbert, ( the marriage lasted from 1932 to 1939 ), he had a well-known throughout Hollywood affair with Mae West, whose bodyguard and driver he was. Also he formed a friendship with Frank Sinatra.

His first film he made in 1935 with the title The Winning Ticket. It was followed by appearances in over 160 other films, in very many, it remained unnamed, was used as a small actor or stuntman. For television, he worked and had guest roles on such series as Bonanza, Honza and Run for your life.

He died on July 9, 1968 under mysterious circumstances. Although they went out of suicide because he was found hanged, but to this day the case is not completely resolved.
