Johnny Keating

Johnny Keating ( born September 10, 1927 in Edinburgh ) is a former Scottish jazz musician and orchestra leader.

Life

A wider audience Keating was announced at the beginning of the 1960s, with the theme song for the BBC crime drama series Z Cars. It is based on the old folk song Johnny Todd. With this composition, he reached the top ten of the UK Singles Chart in March 1962.
