Johnny Seven (actor)

Johnny Seven ( born February 23, 1926 in Brooklyn, † January 22, 2010 in California ), born as John Anthony Fetto, was an American actor. He occupied several roles as criminals and gangsters.

Life

As the only boy soprano Seven grew up as among his five sisters. His passion for acting, he discovered during his service with the U.S. Army when he appeared on several USO shows.

In 1949 he married Edith Piselli, by whom he had two children, John Jr. and Laura.

Career

Actor

Seven initially occupied a basic role in the New York theater community and appeared at many live shows until Universal Pictures brought him to Hollywood in 1958. There he played with in over 600 television shows, 25 films and numerous Broadway theaters and off-Broadway theaters.

Screenwriter

In 1958 he tried his hand as a screenwriter and wrote manuscripts for television, movies and theater. His first piece is called Salvage.

Director

In some of his screenplays he also directed himself. Thus arose in 1964 Navajo Run, and several other television shows.
