Johnson Township is one of twelve townships of Champaign County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in 2000 3357 inhabitants were registered here.
Geography
Johnson Township is located in the extreme west of Champaign County in west-central Ohio and bordered clockwise to the townships: Adams Township, Concord Township, Mad River Township, Jackson Township, Brown Township, Miami County and Green Township, Shelby County.
Management
The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk ( responsible for finance and budget), which is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
